Get Involved

The health and vitality of Sarasota Bay is essential to our quality of life, the region’s economy, and our reputation as a desirable tourist destination and place to live and work. SBEP depends on volunteers of all ages and the goodwill of local businesses, schools, associations, and other groups that operate throughout the watershed area.

Opportunities for involvement include becoming a Bay Guardian volunteer, helping as a volunteer in support of various outreach programs, volunteering to represent SBEP at local events, or serving on the SBEP’s Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC). Contact the SBEP office to learn more.

Subscribe to the Sarasota Bay Estuary Program e-mail list for ideas about how you can get involved in restoring Sarasota Bay.

The Sarasota Bay Estuary Program is dedicated to restoring the area's greatest natural asset - Sarasota Bay. We offer special thanks to our partners: Sarasota County, Manatee County, City of Sarasota, City of Bradenton, Town of Longboat Key, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Florida Department of Environmental Protection and Southwest Florida Water Management District.
