Sarasota Bay Partners Grants support community stewardship of Sarasota Bay

The Sarasota Bay Partners Grants Program promotes environmental education, community involvement, and stewardship to improve the overall quality of Sarasota Bay and its tributaries. To support these goals, funding is available from the Sarasota Bay Estuary Program each year for local projects that focus on Habitat Restoration and Water Quality or Bay-Related Environmental Education and Community Stewardship. In 2020, organizations may apply for up to $4,000.

Businesses, non-profit organizations, schools, academic institutions, civic associations, religious organizations, and neighborhood/homeowners’ associations located in Sarasota and Manatee counties with projects that will benefit the Sarasota Bay watershed are eligible to receive funding. Please contact Darcy Young, Director of Planning and Communications by email or (941) 955-8085 for more information.

Since 2003, SBEP has awarded over $300,000 in Bay Partners Grants to support Bay-friendly projects conducted by 80 area organizations in Sarasota and Manatee Counties.

Visit the Sarasota Bay Partners Grants page on the SBEP website for application materials. Applications are due on Monday, March 2, 2020.
