Maxis Gamez is a self-taught professional nature photographer residing in Sarasota. He started photography as a hobby, but is now pursuing the craft full time with a particular interest in wild birds and landscapes. Maxis enjoys expressing his creativity and using his abilities to teach other photographers. His images have been featured in local parks, galleries, and magazines including Audubon, Shutterbug, Outdoor Photography, Nature Photographers and a National Geographic book.
