ary Erickson grew up sketching the beaches of Long Island Sound in Connecticut. She studied at the University of Bridgeport and Sacred Heart University. Mary began painting professionally in 1993. Since 1998, she has divided her time between Venice, Florida and Marshville, North Carolina. Mary has traveled the world on plein air painting tours with her husband John Edmondson, or other artists.
