Wildlife and nature photographer Jean Clark is a fifth generation native of Sarasota who retired in 2010 after 28 years as a professional Girl Scout. She is now pursuing her longtime interest in photography on the heels of her photographer husband, who provided her with her first digital camera. Jean has taken many photography classes. She has researched and developed an area at her east county home to attract a variety of birds and other wildlife that are photographed by many local photographers. She is a volunteer at Myakka River State Park, where she enjoys sharing her knowledge of the area and wildlife with visitors. She has also traveled to other states to photograph diverse wildlife and nature settings. Jean enjoys sharing her photography with others. Click here to learn more.
