Dotty enjoys taking the trails less traveled to explore and capture images of diverse and easy to overlook species of life. Her goal has always been to encourage people to slow down enough to notice and appreciate all life forms – big and small. Dotty shares her passion for the area’s wildlife, marine life and habitat through her volunteer efforts with the Manatee County Department of Natural Resources. Each month she helps coordinate and present free “Shutter Strolls” in the county preserves to encourage new and experienced photographers to capture that memorable image. Dotty has been published in the Bradenton Herald, Creative Loafing, The Progressive Magazine, and Birds and Blooms Magazine. Learn more about Dotty at www.dottymotta.com.
